Shipping

I am new to GunBroker and need advice about how to ship vintage ammo, vintage primers, and vintage gun power canisters. Do these items need to be marked "hazardous" when shipping? Can I only ship via UPS and Fedex? Any information you can share with a newbie would be greatly appreciated! I am completely in the dark on this matter. Thanks.

The powder canisters, if they are empty, would be no different than shipping coffee cans. In consumer quantities, shipping primers is ridiculously expensive: UPS adds a $32 hazmat charge for each box containing primers up to 48 pounds. Shipping individual packages of primers means a $32 charge for each box. The same applies to smokeless powder. Loaded ammunition or primed brass does no incur a hazmat surcharge, but must be properly labeled.
