Can somebody tell me the advantages and disadvantages of the 22 Hornet vs 22 K-Hornet. I'm a reloader so the ammunition really isn't a factor.

You get a little velocity and the necks hold up better.
I have both and the K is a little more accurate.
I have a friend who has a 17 K hornet. I wish I had a 22 K hornet.
I know all it takes is money. I wish I knew if the ruger 77/22 22 hornet magazines would feet the K hornet.
Still wishing.
I just sold this little beauty.

Its more than a velocity increase, the reformed cases last longer and you will ruin very few cases when during sizing, plus a real shoulder to headspace. Annealing your brass is a must when using improved cases.
Geri,
I had a 77/hornet all weather heavy barrel that had been K'd. Never had any feeding problems with it.
A .22 K on a Win. Low Wall would be very attractive ... IMHO !
