On a Sunday morning text from a Tenant. Well ... it is 64 outside was the reply..Just how cold do you keep it... See you tomorrow.

"Free at last, free at last". Finally I'm free of tenants. I just got back from San Diego after selling the last 2 rental houses.
You have no idea how good it feels to be free of that yoke.
Besides I made a lot of money off of that sale because I sold at just the right time, finally.

How hot does it need to get before a tenant should contact you?
I'm guessing OVER 64😁
Tell him he can turn it on.
Well they will play with the thermostat.. turn it on ..turn it off.. turn it on.. and bingo the capacitor goes bye bye... Then it won't come on. Imagine that.
Nothing wrong with it. Operator messed with batteries in thermostat...had them in backwards.
I wish I could punch whoever told me that being a landlord is easy money. I have 3 rentals now and finally the riff-raff is gone and my sons & grand-daughter are in them. Most of them actually pay rent!
What little grief is from young folks. Just avoid them. Most of my repairs are handled by a maintenance man. Sold a few homes and have a couple more houses for sale now. Just thinning down. I am about 1/3 done with sales and will not sell all until a few more yrs. Too easy of an income with tax write offs.
Who would even disagree with this? if it's 64 outside.......open the dang windows and deal with it for a day.
