Striking out in my usual spots for headed out to scout a couple other areas....This pic was at about 400 yards and across the fence from the property I can hunt....Hopefully I can call them over when I head out...

Tis the season but haven't seen as many as usual for this time of the year?!
We have a hen sitting on her nest down below the house in an old garden spot. According to the internet, they sit on the eggs for 28 days. I have a game camera set up and hope to get some good pictures.

Watched a tom displaying to three hens Friday in a national wildlife refuge.
I got turkeys all over the place this spring. Plus, I have seen where 4 turkeys have been run over by cars on the road within 3 miles of my place. Unusual to see a turkey getting run over.
