PayPal - Changed user Agreement I was just banned - please be careful w Paypal
Paypal just banned me from paypal.... and locked all my funds for accepting payment for guns, ammunition ect...
Here is a list of the prohibited items involving transactions with: (j) ammunition, firearms, or certain firearm parts or accessories, or (k) certain weapons or knives regulated under applicable law.
This is the start of the email I received:
After a review of your account activity, we've determined that you're in violation of PayPal's Acceptable Use Policy. Specifically, the sale of ammunition, firearms, or firearm parts or accessories. As a result, your account has been permanently limited and you won't be able to conduct any further business using PayPal. This is permitted under the PayPal User Agreement sections Restricted Activities and Actions We May Take. You must remove all references to PayPal from your website(s) and/or auction(s), including removing PayPal as a payment option, the PayPal logo, and the PayPal shopping cart.
If you have funds in your PayPal balance, we'll hold it up for 180 days.
For everyone out their who accepts paypal please do NOT reference any GB sale or send an invoice with any verbiage of ammo ect....

Well, it ain't like they don't put that right up front.
Just received an email this morning from someone wanting to pay for a rifle with zelle or whatever. NO!!
There are now thousands of listings on GB that accept antigun PAYPAL for purchases. GB has long been clear on warning people not to use PP to pay for guns, ammo, and their components, yet sellers still use it.
They all know the consequences of violating PP policy and use it anyway. They deserve the consequences and dont feel sorry for them.
You stated they changed their policy.
That's where you'd be wrong. The problem is you never read their policy.
FYI, Venmo is the same company as Paypal, just another name that they use for the same business.
Both are the spawn of ebay.

Bingo
Been there, a whole bunch of times.
