it may have been a good deed went wrong . I am sure a lot of people were grateful but like every thing it does not take long to be abused

countless jobs every where I can not drive thru town with out seeing a sign at every business help needed even with how much they will pay even starting bonuses if you say xx amount of weeks ( not years like 6 weeks )

its difficult to get people to go back to work when they make more being laid off or on welfare .

i agree with the states saying you have to provide information from xx amount of places each week to show your looking even doing that means nothing , think about it how hard would it be to keep your self from being hired not very difficult at all . even if they sent you to a job thru the unemployment office one day you could get your self terminated

Right D-R. Just walk around downtown Indy (if you can keep from getting shot) and there are help wanted signs everywhere. I loved my job and actually looked forward to the next day at work. I only retired 12/31/2012 because I had advanced knowledge that the corporate benefit package was changing on 01-01-2013. To many folks just work to earn money and that's all. Why should they work for less money than they can get from the government for just sitting on their a**?

It's too late for me, save yourself.

Well they are wanting the 4th stimulus check for the parents with children to take care of them. Biden just gave the black colleges about a zillion dollars ..only the poor black colleges.

Dang it! I was just getting ready to sign the wife up for unemployment benefits! She hasn't had a pay check written to her in 51 years, I figure they owe her BIG time! 🤑

I'm hoping the deadbeats get their free money terminated. One of my employees hopped on the "gimme train" at his first opportunity. I denied his claim since I offered him work which he refused. He whined all the way to Washington DC and got accepted into the "I don't have to do nuttin" group while myself and the rest of the group worked from home doing the same tasks he refused. Two years later, he doesn't even respond to "suggestions" that he should be taking some of the assignments and I informed my Regional Coordinator that I was going to fire him. I was told I can't even fire him w/o approval from our Federal HQ in DC. Maybe I can't fire him but he's never getting any more assignments as long as I'm his Supervisor.

Every store I entered last Thursday had a "help wanted" sign out.
