Anyone familiar with Givati or this gun?

It's their answer to the SIG Rattler, at $1500 opposed to $2500. Givati are nicely made, but so are SIG's, LWRCs and Daniel Defense products, all of which have name recognition at similar price points.
I have a 7" PDW and the flash and noise are absolutely brutal.
You will become unwelcome on the firing line by those unfortunate enough to be next too you.
The shortest barrel AR pistol that I have fired is 10.5", and it has a large flash and is plenty loud. I just don't really see the need for anything shorter. Mark, below 10.5" don't you start down the slope of diminishing returns as far as ballistics? For 5.56 anyway?
I'm a long way from being a ballistics expert- moderator nononsense is, but things do begin falling part below 10 inches. This is one of the reasons that the Army selected 10 inches (later increased to 11-1/2 in order to launch grenades) for the Vietnam era XM-177 SMG. Nevertheless, the Army added a 4-1/2 inch moderator/suppressor to make the thing barrable to shoot!
No suppressor company will sanction firing 5.56 from a barrel below 10 inches, so muzzle blast is something that you, and those around you, will have to endure. On the other hand, 300 Blackout with an 8 inch barrel is not only tolerable to shoot, but is easily suppressed to the point that it's startling!
When compared with a 5.56mm 10 inch suppressed AR, the OAL between an 8 inch 300BO is negligible while the ballistics are virtually identical. This was the reasoning behind the 300 BO.
As always, my own guns and my own photos. I'll never BS you guys with photos of stuff that I don't own!
I asked..........because I know that MC would know. I am also a fan of the .300 BO
You're very kind, but keep in mind that I'm a gun dealer and far from an expert in ballistics. What I say is based on personal experience, but I can't back it up with "text book" examples.
I agree that a 10.5" .223 is totally obnoxious to fire even with ear plugs and muffs. In addition, it's difficult to find the correct combination of gas/buffer to ensure proper function. The major portion of the propellant from a .223 in a 4.5" barrel would burn beyond the muzzle resulting in both monstrous fireball and disappointing performance.
Something to look at, brag about, and not shoot would be a good description.
