I KNOW how the power is generated to charge the Tesla. I would STILL buy an electric vehicle IF I had the EXTRA money. They are fast and powerful. Not a liberal tree hugger, simply appreciate enhancements. Ford is going to produce an electric F150 and I would LOVE to have one IF I had the EXTRA money. Why not? I would not depend on any electric vehicle for my ONLY vehicle. I do NOT have that kind of cash to blow, so I do not own one. And for the record, I am 100% pro coal, nuclear, hydro, etc....EXCEPT solar and wind. Those last 2 kill WAY more than they produce and cause issues when its time to replace them. Not exactly sure what you were trying to say above, so i tried to cover it all 😁
yea, fuel is back here too. Just the prices did NOT go down....even AFTER the Gov removed the 28 cents per gallon tax. NONE of the stations went down in price at ALL, much less 28 cents! I'm afraid the high prices are going to stay for a while. Then when it drops back to 2.75 a gallon, they can say "Look how much we cut the costs of fuel for you!"🤬
Just thinking a bit about electric cars. I have always been a USED car\truck buyer. Saved a great deal of money on the out the lot depreciation factors.
I kind of wonder what buying a used electric car having those used batteries would mean. Very expensive replacements would make such a deal not much of a savings buying used. ?????????????
Yea, battery replacement will be a HUGE expense. Prob not a good idea to buy a used one. At least not one over about 6 yrs old. I THINK the batteries should last about 10 years, if properly used.

Prices have dropped a few cents around here
No shortages here in Missouri, but I did pay $3.40/gallon two days ago.

It is still a little hit or miss here in the Raleigh NC area. Some stations only have high test other none and some have nothing but Diesel.
