wasnt too crowded. a number of people buying guns {saw them filling out paperwork}. lots of black guns for sale, not so much older stuff that im interested in. ammo was priced outa sight and then some. as usual with me the show was worth the price of admission, good way to spend a couple of hours.

My interest in gun shows anymore is purely entertainment, a sort of get out the house thing. Last weekend we had a local gun show here in WNC, being as I have been in the thinning mode for a year or so I decided to take some pistols to see if there was any interest, 4 S&Ws, a model 25, 28, 29, & 57. Carrying two in each hand I was swamped as soon as I got to the main area. Mostly tire kickers, but then a dealer came up, asked how much for all, I told him and he bought them all at my asking price. Next day I returned with a Ruger Vaquero, same thing, second guy bought it at my asking price. So it seems a very good time to be selling.
Went to a firearm auction today, guns running about the norm, black guns in the 900.00 range. Marlin Camp 45, 900.00, High Point 9mm at 850.00.
Ammo , idiots everywhere, 9mm 80.00 per 50, 45 ACP, 75.00 per 50, 22 LR at 150 per brick, and 223 at 1.30 per round.
A fool and his money soon parts.
"High Point 9mm at 850.00." OK that is just crazy!
Better built and more reliable than a Glock...
Stir stir stir...
OPPS, not a pistol but carbine. a HP slogan, it fires or it don't
I'm man enough to say I bought a HP carbine in 9mm, but for less than $300.00 about 5 or 6 years ago, it has never failed to fire, but it is ugly as sin.🤣
Given the superiority of a Glock over a 1911 you must have a real dim view of those, huh?
(Add a pinch of levity and stir, stir, stir, some more!)
Oh no, you didn't! Lol
