Sorry this link won't work. A female San Francisco Police officer screwed up trying to arrest a 300 lb homeless guy who took her to the street and was trying to remove her face. To their credit four guys ran over to help. These guys were pretty much helpless. If you google the video you will see. The first guy tries to grab the perp and pull him off with his right hand while holding onto a coat and a couple of bottles of water with his left. Entering into a violent confrontation with only one hand ain't a good plan. Another guy is slapping the big guy in the head like a girl. The other two aren't even as effective as the first two. But they did get involved and that is more than most folks would be willing to do. But damn, here was a perfect chance to stomp a mudhole in a jerk and get away with it.

I was often told to "be careful what you ask for". Equal rights, equal pay, equal butt kicking.
Right now I can think of several cities I would NEVER want to work in if I was a LEO: Portland OR, Seattle, WA. and San Francisco. All DEMOCRAT controlled. Be a matter of time before police are replaced unarmed mediators and intervention teams.
It would have been fun to grab the less than lethal shotgun and shoot the a**hole a few time with it.
The last guy casually walking to the scene... kinda funny.
In all seriousness though, sometimes doing ANYTHING now is better than doing the correct thing later. Props for these guys not just pulling out their phone and video the scene. They got involved!
