I have enjoyed watching the does and fawns around the farm this year....This morning I checked the field behind the house and there was a doe and three fawns feeding along the fence row. The fawns were a riot to watch as they played and chased each other around. The doe keep a watchful eye on them. After about 15 minutes, something spooked them and off they went to the patch in the back of our place...
I always get a kick out of watching them.....

The picture of innocence. Three little spotted fawns.
We just got back from Salt Lake on Monday evening, I opened the gate and we started across the meadow. As we started up the hill, there it was our first elk calf of the year. mama came out of the trees and they took off for the trees to the East.
Man those calves cover ground at an early age. You are right , this is a "fun" time of the year.
Too cute!!!
There were back in the yard late today....I am trying to not crowd them so I can get more good pics of them as the summer rolls on.....I think my Bride's flower gardens may take a beating this year !
Such is life with whitetails. I just got through planting 70 trees, had to put a 5' tall cage around each one.
I got a Lil Buck folder
Ah, Little Buck. What a great story, courtesy of forum member Dennis Nielsen of Texas. Little bit nw of San Antonio.
What a wonderful and sad story, Little Buck. Also very sad that Dennis got thrown off of the forum, we lost a lot when we lost Dennis.
Sorry, this was just an experiment. Sure a lot easier than the old photobucket.
In my area don't see many twins and especially triplets. COYOTES.
I am not sure how long she will be able to keep the three all going...lots of yotes and as said above, she may not be able to feed all three well....
One more in case it was an accident.
