Two down.................
Couple of weeks ago, I noticed something had a burrowing hole under a small storage building and some holes around it out in the back yard. Figured it was probably a ground hog and I was correct. I finally saw one when I pulled up to house late yesterday evening. This morning, I glanced out the bedroom window and saw one. I grabbed the 22 rifle and slowly opened up the sliding door from patio room and watched him. He finally got a safe distance from the propane tank and didn't go any further. Went back to getting ready for work and after awhile looked out the window again. Two more of them. Got to the door and took out another.
Now to watch the next few mornings and see how many more of them suckers I can get. Hopefully, there is just the one more, but I doubt it. Think they were young adults (probably 16 inches long) so I figure their momma is probably around somewhere.

Yes, she probably is neacpa. Be careful when you hear a soft knock on your front door.
😲
The young ones taste very similar to rabbit.
Jackpot..shoot them all
Yeah, I am not quite that hungry.
I'm dreading the arrival of the Possums on the half shell, I see them dead on the road all the time have not had one yet.
Will trade my cooon problems for your ground hog problems. 😁
I hate to sound naive, but I live in the wilderness and I don't have a problem with groundhogs. Never have killed one.
What is the reason why y'all want to kill these animals?
Their burrows can cause a lot of problems.
