John Wayne on the set c.1970
It's being willing. I found out early that most men, regardless of cause or need, aren't willing. They blink an eye or draw a breath before they pull the trigger. I won't. ~ J.B. Books

Great photo of him.
First bike was a '73 - SL350. Kind of a lime green gold, depending on the light.
Drooooool. Love me some Honda enduros.
Started out with a 305 superhawk as my first street bike . Moved up thru the years on various sl ,cb ,and cb 350s . Really want one now just to play with .
I had a Honda 175 Scrambler. High pipes, good for street, or trail! Loved that bike.
I had a Honda 50 with the step through frame like a girls bike. Man it was embarrassing. But take the muffler off and it was my Hawg!
My next bike was a Honda CR500 motocross bike. 😳 Holy Carp!
one neat old photo of JW
he was one of the true actors I can not image any one else filling his roles he truly became the American cowboy on screen
RIP
I had a buddy his parents named him John Wayne after him ( and of course followed by his real last name ) he passed away about 10 yrs ago
That bike looks like its set up to mount a camera or some other item to the frame.
Cool picture.
I also had a 350 like dano’s. I kept breaking timing chains. Those Phillips head screws that held the cases were a bxtch. I got caught on the road driving with only a learners permit and it sat for six months until I got my m/c license. The tail light wire passed through the fender. Sometimes when I hit a bump it would ground out and the electrics would die. It took a while to finally figure the problem.
Those Phillips head screws are what taught me about "impact drivers" The kind you impact with a hammer. SL 250.
