Finally found a semi auto pistol that she likes and I don't have to load the magazines for her.

Sister in law has one. She likes it. I shot it a few times, its good for its purpose. The ONLY issue i saw was with her shooting. She(fairly new shooter) was limp wristing and that causes this EZ to FTF really easy. IF she held it tight, no issues. But she was SO mad to begin with because every other shot had a FTF. I'm sure that will get better with a little break in and lube BUT mainly her technique. Congrats! I hope you already had the ammo, or went ahead and purchased a good bit!

    Great!

The M&P series are IMHO probably the best autos I have seen from S&W. Picked up a 40 and 9 PD trade ins. They both shoot in the black circle at 15 and 25. Both are more accurate then the Glocks I have fired over the years.

They can take abuse. Friend of mine telling me he dropped his 40 in the lake when fishing and since not real deep he found it on the mucky bottom. Just for the heck of it, he rinsed it by shaking in the clean surface water and proceeded to fire the entire magazine.

My only complaint is takedown, Fortunately they seem to fire forever without having to be cleaned.

Probably going to be my wife’s next gun. I think it will be much easier for her to use than her Bodyguard .380. I have a regular Shield 9mm. Great carry gun and I carry it more than anything else.

It's been quite the popular handgun since it was released, with the M&P Shield 380 just beating it by a hair (the EZ features are even more accentuated on the 380). Hope she enjoys it! Love the EZ followers and load assist tabs on the mags, plus the slide is so EZ to rack!

Look @montanajoe it has an accessory rail!

Some will die in hot pursuit
    And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
    While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
    Coming down the mountain
