Went to Dunhams on Wednesday

Actually needed some golf balls and I was out of the cheap Taylormade Distance balls. Snagged up 2 dozen for $30. Decided since I was there I'd check out the ammo and gun section. $19 for 20 round box of 5.56 and $12.49 for a box of Chinese 7.62 x 39. On the other hand they had more guns then I've ever seen in that store. Seen an attractive AK with neat looking reddish wood furniture well it was neat until the girl said it was $1200. I made my way over to the scope ring section as I need a set of 30 mm rings for my new Leatherwood scope. I most likely have a set but thought I'd look anyway. Not surprisingly they didn't have one set. Every ring they had was one inch. About that time an Asian guy was in the same aisle where I was and I asked him what ya got there. He had a box of 200 rounds of 5.56 and a 30 round P-mag. I asked him how much the ammo & the P-mag was ????? $189 for the ammo and $25 for the P-mag. Then he asked me if was a good deal ??? I said hell no you can buy the mags for $14 nearly any where on line and I wouldn't pay that much for the ammo unless I was totally out. He said he had about 300 rounds at home and unless he was planning for a war in the next moth or so not to buy either item. As I was checking out my 2 dozen golf balls I watched him leave the store empty handed.
