California Plans To Pay Off All Unpaid Rent Racked Up During Pandemic

serfserf Member Posts: 9,217 ✭✭✭✭

So you know where your Federal Tax payer money is going. Right into the landlords pocket. So they pay off all the rent debt and keep squatting on the property then what? A new miraculous job paying 20.00 dollars an hour with the government?

The governor is trying to buy his recall election vote before they get evicted! Sly progressive democrats at work.

Eligible renters for the existing rent relief program must have a household income that does not exceed 80 percent of the Area Median Income, must show that they have experienced financial hardship during the pandemic, and must demonstrate a risk of experiencing homelessness or housing instability.

The mind of these people work in retrograde. The thought of incentivizing people to go back to work does not seem to register with DEMOCRATs in total control of the Golden state, but then again CA is full of people who vote for a living rather than work for a living.

This is nuts. What percentage of landlords are wealthy whites?

This, like paying off student loans, is an obviously racist and elitist transfer of wealth from the working class to the business class.

The water that we have all heard about in Mexico and warned not to drink must have siphoned across the border into California! That water literally kills brain cells!
