I am Gonna be a Professionel

I have decided to become a pro full time gunsmith. I mean I have google and about four hammers, seven screwdrivers, and I just got this fancy parts washer. Now I am just gonna sit back and wait for all that money to come rollin in. I think I am gonna specialize in ramp polishing on high dollar 1911's.

You can't be a professional until you get a "decaf" parts washer!
What are doing to that poor Colt!
It is a Python and should only be cleaned with NV Krug Champagne. The assembled by a Highly trained Elf.
And a bigger hammer.
Don't forget, duct tape can cover up a myriad of sins on that poor little revolver. Bob
If I get the big pairs of Vice Grips I can change barrels on them long range shooters. There is a whole bunch of old .308's and .30/06's that won't shoot very far. Not like the magic 6.5 what you call it. Them dang things will shoot way out there.
Don't forget a Dremel!
Stay away from the vice grips. That's what the pipe wrench is for.
That barrel is screwed in too far, grind that little stub down
A pro??!? You’re gunna haveta learn a whole bunch of new swear words.
Ricci, you're one of the few that clean a gun before offering it for sale. Then you can give an accurate description of it. It ticks me off that others can't even run a swab down the bore.
Get plenty of JB Weld in case you come across a cracked cylinder!
"If it doesn't fit, force it.
If it still doesn't fit, get a bigger hammer.
If it breaks, it needed to be replaced anyway."
Ummm, that is not a 1911.
Ricci a professional. Does this mean we can count on you for your EXPERT advise? 😋
Absolutely. What I don't know I will just make up and it will be true. Like a democrap.
I realize this is meant as a joke but consider that there are numerous "gunsmithing" tasks that don't require a lot of technology.
I've changed several Mauser and Savage barrels using a homemade barrel vise bolted to a tractor drawbar. End results were at least as good as sending the parts to a "gunsmith" with a sign outside his door.
thought you allready were???????????
Don't forget you need those bits that allow you to drill it smaller...
As soon as you have all that money rolling in, would you be please be so kind as to share with me how you did it? After 30 years, I still ain't spending winters in Cancun........................
Kinda' like Grandpa Kenny used to say," I became moderately wealthy from farming. I was a millionaire when I started."
JB weld is your friend
Not wanting to be a jerk but if you're gonna be a professional you need to spell "professionel" correctly. Just sayin'. Sounds like our Smithing skill set is similar.
Yea, what he said. Everyone knows there's two "f"s in "proffessionel".
Sheesh.
Aw did I spell it wrong. Well I am from the South you know. Now BLESS YOUR HEARTS!! You get someone to help you look that up. And I spell exactly as I want to at the time. Only 19 posts.
Ricci, I didn't say nutin cause I knowed you perposly spelt it wrong jest to be funny.
Professional is spelled "perfessnel" south of the Mason Dixon line, grins.
f I member rectly, f u ad "bless your heart" to a cment in the south it s k to sy mst aytng abt sumon.
Pardon my spelling.
The spell checker doesn't work in the title line of a New Discussion.
They did it on purpose so all the English Lit nit pickers would have something to add to a post. 😁
And I was thinking he had found a corner to work... since that would probably make him as much money!
