She continues to worm her way into our hearts. Tonight for the first time she let me stroke her head just a little...The last two days, I have been trying to socialize her a bit more.....I tied some colored twine on a fishing line and played some chase and catch games with her....she still sleeps under the porch as I think she feels safe there for now....
She is a cute little booger.....

All of the best pets I have ever had were strays.
Oh yeah!!
Sounds to me like her plan is coming together. Another week or two and she'll have you and your wife completely under her control!
(Cute kitty!)
congrats on the new family member and taking her in . I hope we gain some karma points for such deeds along with the love and affection they give us
why karma 😁well we have apx a dozen + cats I lost track ( and vet bills 😮 to go with them ) all but a couple are strays or wonder in and stay, last one showed up about a month ago liked it and stayed ( Fuzzy .) the one before him was just a 6 to 8 week old kitten my wife found in the middle of the road and called me to come get it out of her car as she went to work . last fall "Rhode" ( suggested by a GB forum member )
We took in a stray cat. Named her Mrs. Grey. We had that cat for 18 years.
What a tiger! Squirrels and rats didn't stand a chance against Mrs. Grey. Great pet.
Awww,,,
Our neighbors found one under a shed. We now have it in a crate and wife is working on finding it a forever home and get it fixed.
Martha is a cutie.
I just spent $300 on a female cat to have spayed and she is worth every penny.
i was just thinking that u a going to gain her trust and then put her in your vehicle, take her to a strange place and have her spayed. shes not going to like you for a few days after that. but in the long run things will b good.
She continues to work her magic with me......played more "cat" fishing with her today. We were expecting some rain tonight so I put a tarp over the back porch to make sure she would not have any issues.....headed out about an hour ago since it was raining to check on her.....she walked up to me and looked at me and trotted off....I kept talking to her and wiggled a stick in the grass. Martha came over to play with it and I reached down and rubbed her back...she started purring at me and rolled over so I rubbed her tummy and she swatted at my hand...so I picked her up and she panicked so I sat her back down, but she did not run away. I patted her head and she headed under the porch as it was starting to rain harder.....
Little fart has me wrapped around her little paws already......all is lost 🙃😍
Wonderful, sometimes lost is good!
