GB Mobile App no longer supported
Apologies if this has already appeared somewhere on the forums.
Not sure how many of you use the Gun Broker mobile application but I occasionally use my tablet to look over the GB site. Several days ago I started getting a message that the mobile app was "temporarily unavailable." Figuring it had somehow been corrupted I uninstalled and reinstalled - or attempted to anyway.
GB sent me the following message:
Effective July 1, 2021
Due to policy changes within their companies, Apple and Google have chosen to not support our apps any longer. This means we cannot provide needed updates, fixes or new access to the app. At this point the apps no longer function properly and need to be discontinued. If you have an app installed, you will receive an error message when you try to use it.
So a florist MUST arrange and deliver flowers for events that violate his core principles but big tech can decide which legal businesses (customers) they will, and will not, support? Censorship? Double standards? Not a big regulatory fan but it's high-time these companies have to behave by the same rules as bakeries and florists. GB is a LEGAL business and I sure would love some suggestions about how to avoid Google and Apple - it's rather like deciding not to buy Chinese-made goods - pretty difficult.

Yes the app is no longer available, just use the browser in your tablet and go to the website directly.
