Gun sells tonight. I send invoices for sold guns. One guy replies: "Hi thanks for the pistol , please send address and I will send a $ 365 dollar usps money order with FFL info".

Ain't that nice. The guy bid the gun to $650.00, but he wants to get it for $365.00 cause he is special.

Then a few minutes later he writes: "Hi I will gladly pay $650 plus $35 for shipping but I will not pay a tax never have I paid a tax on GB just bought a rifle on Gb over a $1,000 and no tax I will send you a $ 685 usps money order but NO tax.

My reply: Ok sorry to hear that. It clearly states in the auction that gunbroker will be collecting sales tax. I will contact gb tomorrow and ask them to refund my fees and tax which they collect from my account. I will have to relist the gun and report you as a non paying bidder. That is the only way I can get reimbursed. Thank you, Ricci.

So he writes: "How about if you gonna do that report that you refuse my legit payment on item won, how is it that I buy items on GB and no tax EVER and you have become a tax collector , I won the Item and you are to sell it to me at the winning bid plus overcharged shipping in which I am on record of agreeing to pay as I ALWAYS do maybe I report you as a non seller.

My last email: Starting on July 1, 2021, GunBroker.com collects and remit sales tax on behalf of all sellers for sales in which the item is sold into the following states:

  • Alaska
  • Florida
  • Kansas

So I am now a NON SELLER. I think this jerk is one of them woke fools.
