I somehow knew this was coming. NFL announced today that before each game two anthems will be played. One - the National Anthem and two - the black national anthem.

I do not know the name of one single player in the NFL today. Peyton and Eli Manning are the last 2 I remembered and now they have retired and I don't watch or read about any of them.
I'm also proud to say I don't even have a clue what the name is of the vice president of the USA. I quit watching the news and I don't remember what that sorry pos's name is!
Oh well just another sleepless night here at the ranch on cancer watch. I'm up giving Miss June 60 mg of Morphine every 4 hours and 8 mg of Hydromorphone every 2 hours around the clock and it barely puts a dent in the pain. Plus handfuls of nerve pain pills and muscle relaxers including seizure meds and depression pills.

The only good reason I can think of to watch now is to make a list of the companies that advertise during the games so that I can NOT buy their products and maybe even do a little letter writing and let them know why I'm not buying their products.

Years ago drove all the way to Binghamton with my bride of 57 years to watch the amazing Jets and Joe Namath play in Super Bowl. At least two hours driving to sit at a sports bar and have a burger. Those were exciting times. I no longer care what is happening in the NFL after their antics of late. i am done with them.-----------------------Ray

Last time I watched the national felons league the bears won the super bowl.

The only thing missing is the Latino national anthem, Jewish national anthem, Asian national anthem, transgender national anthem, etc. etc. How come they aren't represented?

...I've always liked football, played at home, and from the 2nd grade thru 12th grade...and played in a lot of pick-up games into my 30's...I could care less about the "politics", I just enjoy watching some world class athletes play football...

I do not pay any attention to the NFL, their so-called athletes, and I do not buy from any of their sponsors.
That is so insulting to me. No other antham should be played along side ours is that of another nation.
I don't know why they're bothering to play the Star Spangled Banner. The players will all take a knee to protest it anyway.

ALL of the professional sports have been corrupted by left wing corporate sponsorships and the ensuing ideologies.
Now the college level is being destroyed. I wonder how long it will be before the Little League and Pee Wee get taken over?
BTW....................Other than wearing hats or shirts reflecting my alma mater (University of Texas at Austin), I don't wear "team sports gear". I do not wear collegiate level clothing with a players name or number..............only the UT logo or whatnot.
Grown men who were sports jerseys sporting their favorite pro player's name are not held in high esteem here.........it's dang silly.
It is a wonder how long black and brown people suffered through singing, fighting for, and respecting the White National Anthem.
Until this thread, I had never thought of it as The White National Anthem. It is certainly a shining example of White American Culture. Something all of us white folks can be proud of, as it symbolizes the White American struggle for independence as our one-time overlords attempted to re-assimilate us into the British collective.
We should all, apparently, forget that black Americans died during the Revolutionary War, and the War of 1812. Little did they know they were assisting in creating one of the most ethnically oppressive governments to ever exist. A legacy that obviously continues through today.
I will now only refer to the Star Spangled Banner as the 'White National Anthem' whenever I am around my leftist friends. Cannot wait to see the reaction.

I have quit watching all professional sports now for over a year. When I buy shoes for the grandkids, they can have anything they want as long as they aren't being promoted by a pro athlete. I'm completely fed up with them all, including NASCAR.
Professional sports have pooped in their bed, including NASCAR. Just look at the attendance. When the money dries up, see what happens.
