I was fishing at one of my favorite places a couple days ago. Caught a few bass and then used the outdoor range and fired a few rounds before heading home. I rolled into a local Dairy Queen (not the one Dano used to work at 😛) for a burger to go and a big old Diet Coke.....as I rolled up to the place my order, this pretty doe was about 5 feet from the passenger side door munching away...I almost always have my good camera in the truck so I took several pics of her...three fawns ran in and around the area while I was taking pics but none I could get a shot of before they scampered away.....

I asked the girl at the drive up window about them and she said they are there everyday about this time.....she said they seem to be in a small patch of trees by a creek about 75 yards away most of the time but roll up to their parking lot area everyday.....

I am always interested in how adaptable critters are....
