My husband asked me what I did at work yesterday. "Well, me and the girls put the phones on do-not-disturb and went out behind the building and threw knives and axes." :)

Sounds like you work in tech support for Verizon.
Sounds like fun, You don't work for Cold Steel or some such do you?
Nope, insurance. Lol
(I should also note the owner started it. My Dad would kill me for stealing time.)
Sounds more effective than a " scream room" for letting off steam.
sounds like fun
not going to ask what the targets were 😮
We used a foam mannequin head on top of 3" thick foam board that we duct taped between 2 poles in the ground. Nobody really got the head, though.
It was interesting to me how, because of rotation, how much more you have to consider your distance from the target. Not that it mattered, in my case. I didn't care which end stuck in the target, as long as it made it there. (baby steps)
I can understand wind direction, bullet drop, etc in shooting, but how in the world do you control things in knife throwing?
So you work at the post office?
Wife got me one as a birthday present years ago. Throws like a dart.
