I've got one that sat in a closet in a western Kansas farmhouse for over 50 years.I use for a barn gun.Recently one sold on the auction side for $459.Does anyone have one of those old ads to show what they sold for new, back in the 30's?

Sold for $25 new in 1927. Made from 1927 to 1937, 18,281 made.
Thanks,Trap
tocamoha, they're going for more than $459 in good shape. Mainly for the small production numbers. I watched that auction too, and expected it to go for at least $300 more. Someone got a steal on it. I've got a copy of Bert's polishing room records for the Model 57, if you want a DOM.
I'll check the serial #.
Serial# 8299.Mine's not in great shape. The blue is gone and the wood is dinged up but it shoots fine.I used to have the original leather sling but it disintegrated.
Made in 1930, with only 2586 made that year.
Thanks. It's good to know you've got the polishing room records.
