SBE III seems to be geared to the cuck/goose guy, but what do you think about upland and turkey with it as well? Why?

I really can't think of any reason that it wouldn't make an excellent all around good choice for pretty much anything that you want to hunt. I believe all of their barrels come with choke tubes, so just use the proper one for what you are hunting. The standard 12 gauge barrel is 28" which might be a little long for tight brush but shouldn't be too much of a detriment. The 20 gauge barrel is 26" and should swing better in tight spots. Of course you give up a little versatility by dropping down to the 20. Me, I'd learn to live with the longer barrel and get the 12. Bob
Sure
It is well suited for nearly anything you would need a shotgun for. Like really well.
I had to google it. It's not a common abbreviation.
Benelli Super Black Eagle 3
I always wanted a left handed one with wood stocks. Never got one.
Well it is a shotgun so... yeah!
I have an SBE II and it works fine for everything. I have even squirrel hunted with it.
Do your part and it should work extremely well.
