Any problems with gunbroker?

I just have won an auction. The system went to you won. Advised the seller about how I would pay. But never got the sellers info where to pay. Now the item is back for sale. Is this a dream?

Where to pay is on both summary and invoice under My Gunbroker

If its something a seller could have multiple of the same thing I wouldn't worry about the relisted item. Look in your "won items" and if the auction shows up there you won and you should be able to check the seller's info there.

Sellers a lot of time do not know to cancel the relist after a sale..or before if it is no reserve.

I have emailed the seller. It may take a day or more before he or she responds. It doesn't show up as me winning. The same item # still shows it is a current item. I would try again to buy, but would like to talk to seller first. I do think it must be a dream, Ha.

    Nightmares are dreams also.

You think you won, but the system doesn't indicate such?

You emailed the seller? Through the end of auction system, or through the "Ask Seller A Question" link?

As a seller, I've had that happen. A newbie buyer makes a bid and assumes that was the end and he's ready to pay up and get his item. I had one get really angry and threaten to complain to Gunbroker when I told him he had to wait until the auction ends.

I've never had any problems with GunBroker. Hope this helps.

I haven't had a problem till this one. The seller emailed me with the total due this morning. Gunbroker still has this item in his listings. It has the same item #. I have reached out to him again. Someone could bid on this item and make it a bigger problem. I asked for a call or email me. Truly unusual. Thanks for ideas.

Does the seller have any feedbacks? Either the seller is busy and slow getting back to you or something questionable might be going on like trying to sell the same item multiple times. Bob

Thanks. If the seller has sent you payment instructions, the next step is for you to send him the money, regardless of any other listings he has.

When he receives your money, I feel sure he will send your item.

Update: Aug 12th I bid on buy it now 2 items. The auction didn't close itself out after winning. On Fri Aug 13th, the seller emailed me, Thanks for the purchase. Send Cashiers check or money order for $ XX.XX to his contact info. I go to buy said money order and send priority mail. On Aug 17th he emails me to say he is sending my money back because someone else won the BIN. I replied that on 13 Aug you emailed me telling me I won with above instructions, now on the 17th you awarded the auction to someone else. He closed the auction and no winning bidder ID is available. There were mixed opinions on how to handle this on the forum. Truly no rules apply. Done, done, done with this seller.

Life is a gamble, you gambled and luckily you broke even (getting your money back) ........there's an old saying in baseball, "sometimes the best trades are the one you don't make". Think about that 🤔
