Afganistan, US Loses Another War

truthfultruthful Member Posts: 2,117 ✭✭✭✭

After nearly 20 years, the US was finally making progress in cleaning out that S-hole of a country. Then Biden slithers into the White House and soon announces a total withdrawal of US forces. As soon as that was underway, the Taliban started taking back all the areas that US lives, money, and equipment had kicked them out of. Today their retake is nearing completion. So what is the US genius team doing? Sending several hundred troops back in to assist in evacuation of our embassy. Does that sound familiar? Anybody here who was on the roof of the embassy in Saigon getting people into the last helicopters?

Last war the US won was WWII. And if that war happened again today, with the slime in control in DC, we'd all be speaking German with a Japanese accent.

Yep, and the current administration is making sure we dont have a military capable of fighting ANY future war.

All politicians suck. Don't forget Trumps campaign promise was to have our troops out 3 months ago. I think his goal was May first. We could have stayed 10 more years or left 10 years ago and with that culture it wouldn't have made any difference. They are primitive savages that have been fighting for thousands of years and no matter what we did, it was just postponing the inevitable. Bob

Instead of oil and water which does not mix and we can include Iraq in this ,Then it was about oil & religion. Now Oil & Gas is losing its draw card for The Money Changers.

They have a new game in town, Transhumanism with Science and Technology with Artificial intelligence. That is a mixture with so many parameters that only a religion can solve it in the end… Omnipotent to us and thinking it's all knowing will not be enough.

Afghanistan has been invaded many times, starting with Alexander the Great. No one has ever succeeded in conquering the country. Instead, they simply had enough and left.

    Don't even look back!

Even so, I hope that we got some of the trillion dollars worth of mineral wealth that the old Gun Broker hardliners insisted was there and was just waiting for us to help ourselves.

Our original mission was a success. Close down the al-qaeda training camps and kill osama. The mission creep that ensued is what failed. THAT was ill conceived and destined to fail. Biden is weak in body, mind and spirit. He should have had a plan for the exit of our forces, but no. Instead, he's sending more troops back to safely remove our embassy personnel. It was a good idea to leave. The fake president, as is his custom, had no plan to execute that. So now he has his own Saigon.

Have the mostly peaceful terrorists invaded Kabul and beheaded anyone yet?

  • Don McManusDon McManus Member Posts: 23,672 ✭✭✭✭

100s of thousands have died in Iraq and Afghanistan because the US invaded.

We got revenge upon the Taliban by creating a situation where scores of thousands of civilians died.

We punished Saddam Hussein by creating a situation where 100 Thousand + civilians died.

These actions destabilized an already fragile region which, when accompanying by our support for the Free (sic) Syrian Army, allowed for the flourishing of ISIS for years and the horrendous atrocities those Islamist Fundamentalists committed.

There were people sounding the alarm in 2001, presenting other options to * Bin Laden. They were ignored in our blood lust fuel need for 'justice'.

GWB committed the us to two disgusting aggressive wars that could have been avoided. He had broad support for the first and significant support for the second, regardless of what people now pretend they said at the time. Eve then, once Al Qaeda in Afghanistan was removed as a threat, we should have made our exit strategy our major priority. Many of us said this at the time as well, but were ignored by the American death cult because we had not yet placed Bin Laden's head on a pike.

I hope to hell that every American today has this mistake burned into their memory. We lost less than 3,000 people on 11 September, 2001. We have created the mess that has resulted in upwards of 300,000+ or so innocent people because we reacted like children.

I know American lives are much more valuable than Muslim lives. Maybe the ratio is 100 to 1. What do all of you warmongers think?

I think there were no WMD's in Iraq, and it was a big lie! 9/11 could have been prevented too! It's all an Illuminati plot to destroy America's Empire with chaos and waste trillions of dollars and hundreds of thousand of lives to bring in The NWO order after we default on The Petrol -dollar.

We Will see soon how congress raises the debt ceiling this fall with Biden's & Bernie's socialism agenda with The United Nations mandates of The NWO with the new woke progressivism, with multi cultralism propaganda with CRT ,while The Wuhan virus rages on population.

It may happen sooner than you think, too!

Yes the ongoing Afghan war was one of the biggest mistakes ever undertaken by our govt. It was a waste of countless dollars and lives but I believe it continued so long because of American idealism that was based on ignorance. The war turned into a modern crusade by the west to convert a population to our way of life. It is an area that has been violently torn by religion for millennia and nothing we were going to do was going to change that. We ignored history and were doomed to repeat the mistakes made in the past.

I don't believe your mythical illuminati or the NWO had anything to do with it. In fact the definitions of illuminati and NWO are the direct opposite. The definition of illuminati is the unfettered exchange of information leading to personal freedom and the mythical NWO is just the opposite. Are there people in the world that have more power and influence than others? No question that there are, but forming a evil cabal would be the last thing they do. Giving up what control and power they have to others in a group is unlikely. But I guess since time began we have always blamed mythological beings and groups for problems we don't understand. Unfortunately that just enforces ignorance and stifles personal responsibility. Bob

Tell it to George H.W. Bush. Maybe you can beat around The Bush with it? Who and What formed The United Nations? It sure was not Formed By Red China. The U.S. is the last nation that gives the right to bear arms to We the People. Our fore fathers knew that once all the nations are formed under an elite organization that game was over and told us not be entangled in foreign affairs.

Too late for that, it has now become an ends to its means. Absolute power written under The world constitution, and that power does not fall back on we the people. It falls back on the elite rulers who always had the superior intellect with the most wealth over the common people to instill their discipline over them. I UNDERSTAND.

The U.N. is a socialistic world power by it's owns definition, they just can't deliver it in full force right now but doing a damn good job here in The USA to destroy our constitution and Bill of Rights under their tutelage

These terms what does it mean? No one shall be arbitrarily deprived of his/her property. Who decides? Tell it to all the landlords now who have been deprived? Really Serf, a biblical quote that is a bit out of context for the subject at hand. Were you quoting Matthew or Deuteronomy? You are right about the poor always being with us because the goalposts keep moving. Compare what we define as poor in this country to the poor in Afghanistan. The U.N. is a powerless facade that countries use to give lip service to their conscience. People and societies have different abilities and goals. I can't believe that you think jealous third world U.N. politicians will have any success in the long run of fundamentally changing the U.S. Even creepy old Joe is looking out for himself and would resist any U.N. efforts that might curtail his political power or his families financial advancement. The dems aren't stupid, just greedy for power and wealth and siding with the U.N. could cause them to lose both of those things. It isn't the impotent U.N. you should be worried about, instead concentrate on our own corrupt politicians.

One thing no one on here has considered is what country would benefit from Afghanistans natural resources if it is run by a regime hostile to the United States? If those resources are developed who would control them on the world market? Perhaps someone got to old Joe and convinced him it was in his best interest to withdraw our troops. Seems like one old super power and one new super power both might just have enough on him for a bit of blackmail. That makes more sense than your illuminati theory. I find it more enlightening to look at the known bad guys than to invent a faceless bogeyman. Bob

Blackmail is an old game and both sides know it well. The die is cast .Rare metals is not what is going down,it's spiritual. A free democracy, with a one world government, is the last card to play. The money changers are already to lay the foundation soon. The USA government has been bought and now will be sold.

Old Joe is just another puppet and can think what he wants. It's all vain and vanity anyway,

The rule of law can only be enforced when we the people give up our rights to a higher authority. The 2nd amendment is the only thing standing in the way. The supreme court will soon give that away.

    According to the Associated Press:

”A Taliban spokesman and negotiator told The Associated Press that the terrorist group aims to form an "open, inclusive Islamic government," an apparent attempt to appeal to the Left in the West.”

Meaning they will openly and inclusively chop your head off.

Twenty years and trillions invested, and or Afghan puppets couldn't even last two months? Even our stooges in Saigon hung on for around two years after we left Vietnam.

A huge waste, but one predicted by Gun Broker members who were accused of being butt hurt liberal trolls.

Of course it will be blamed on Trump, who planned to have the troops withdrawn. Fine- I'm all for getting the hell out of there. Even so, planning is not executing. I watched video and there was virtually no security at the airfield. Whose fault is that? Not Trump's!

This was beyond a disaster. It was a despicable scene. Biden, who would have had to have approved the plan, deserves every bit of the blame.

  • Don McManusDon McManus Member Posts: 23,672 ✭✭✭✭

    Agreed, Mark.

The decision was made in April.

It appears we pulled out our military personnel and air support equipment prior to pulling out the embassy. Even if one believes (as most do) that the future for Afghanistan was never in doubt, and that it would once again become what it was prior to the attached of 11 September, 2001, there is not excuse for not keeping in place that which would have mitigated this disaster.

Freedom and a submissive populace cannot co-exist.

If it was Trump’s fault, then the current administration let themselves get punk’d big time.
