Texas Hold ‘em

WarbirdsWarbirds Member Posts: 16,923 ✭✭✭✭

I was invited to a friends place for a Texas Hold ‘em night.

I haven’t know this guy long, but he put on quite an event and I had a great time.

4 tables and I would say 7 people at each table to start.

A bunch of these guys were really strong poker players. I made it about 3hrs before getting knocked out, but I was just hanging on for the last 30-40 minutes.

    Sounds like fun. Be careful, it can cut into your pistol time. I'm heading to Cincinnati in the morning to play a small tourney, only about 180 people.

    A Texas favorite along with dominoes.

    That sounds like a super spreader event...................says the lefty libtard.

    Glad you had fun. I like playing poker with friends and we get together about once a month.

    @SCOUT5 -Good luck man!

    If it helps, we were outdoors. This guy had a giant outdoor patio space which was really nicely laid out. Im sure there was some risk, but honestly the kids back in school is a more probable concern.

    A great game of SKILL and watching players and their moves. PLUS, You have to get lucky once in a while. Played many games in casinos but quit a few years back. It is a thrill and then with pocket Aces, a big let down when the flop is KING, 2 ,8 and your Aces just ran into trips, been there.
