Amazon Prime has hurt my feelings...

I just got a call from a man telling me my Amazon account has been compromised and some ner do well has ordered an I phone using my account. He told me to stand by...I then have a woman come on the line from the deepest part of India or some such place, asking me for all my personal data so they can make things right.

I told her my name was Hunter Biden, a well known artist, and not to worry about it since I'm flush. She then called me a naughty word.

I'll never buy from Amazon again...

    Yeah. Once a week I get the call about an Apple laptop has been ordered and will arrive tomorrow if I don't talk to the next person. I keep waiting for the Amazon delivery, but it has yet to arrive.

    I will use the Hunter Biden thing next time they call.

    I guess they want me to be surprised. I keep getting the recorded message that I have been charged $349.99 for an Amazon purchase and to call if I don't want it. So far nothing has shown up and I have no idea what it is. I suppose all I would have to do is call the number back and give them my credit card #, my Amazon passwords, and a bunch of other personal info to get it cancelled. Yeah, like that's going to happen. 😆


    I guess this goes back to some of my previous comments about the dumbing down of America or this sort of scam could never happen. Bob

    itcdoty: Don't abandon Amazon it isn't their fault. I have gotten 5 phone calls in the past 2 months just like that. Some scammers from somewhere, they are just giving you an IQ test. If you ignore them, you pass the test.
