Gunbroker Account Locked

Hi! Can anyone offer suggestions on how to unlock buying privileges on the main Gunbroker.com site? Over the years, I made many transactions with no problems at all. I have not made a purchase in a couple years and when I tried to buy an item at auction it said Buying Privileges were locked. I completed the form to have this corrected about a week ago and it's still locked.
What really hurts here, is that I can login and monitor my watchlist just fine. I tracked some items for weeks and when I found what I wanted, the system has me locked-out.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Ray

All you can do is wait....
Credit card expired? That seems to be the most common problem. Check to make sure your card on file is up to date under your account.
Well darn... the second auction item I was watching just went to another buyer. I was never able to make a bid because it says:
"This account is not allowed to place bids or purchase items. This is a security measure taken due to account inactivity or issues with previous transactions. Click here to contact Customer Support and request your Buying Privileges be restored."
In reality, it seems Bunbroker has suspended their "Privilege" to profit off my transactions. It's pretty bad to allow full access to the account without a notification to inform that Bidding or Purchasing is disabled.

I don't think it's a credit card issue, I used a credit card when I joined years ago and the info has never been updated, in fact I've changed CC's since but I can still bid on items. When paying for items I always send a check or USPS money order. Who knows what's happening with this recent change-over ??? Myself and many others don't know either.

I gave up on trying to use my Credit Card over six months ago. Easier to try and change sellers mind on method of payment. Most sellers are willing to help. I usually use USPS Money Order. Takes a little longer but who cares. If there is ever Fraud involved, you are now dealing with Postal Inspector and US Govt.-------------------------Ray
In 20 years only had one problem. Never had a seller refuse USPS Money Order except Gunbusters. The one problem was seller lost Money Order and in less than three weeks i was reimbursed with check by USPS.------------------------------------Ray
Dano, probably about a year ago on the lost Money Order that was reimbursed. I made purchase less than a week ago and seller ( in Bristol, Va.) wanted PayPal or a Money Order i never heard of started with a V. I believe. I contacted her and brought up a few facts on PayPal. Asked her if she would take a USPS Money Order. She said sure no problem.
I use to buy a lot of parts with PayPal. Never again. I really am surprised at how many sellers on GB will take PayPal. I think all of Gunbusters branches take credit cards only. Written in Blood I think. It is their policy.------------------------------Ray
Dano, one after thought. Years ago USPS lost my door closers on a Forever Door. I filled a claim and waited, and waited and waited and then filled a appeal to their decision and they paid up finally. Key word here is "Tenacity". I know it can be a PIA but don't give up. Yes, i suppose I was fortunate.-------------------------Ray
just wait on the powers to be at Gb to get to your request from what I have read every time you submit it back to the bottom of the list you go 🤨
frustrating I am sure hope you get worked out and reminds me I better check my info
😁
There's a lot of places to buy guns.
I prefer USPS money orders. If someone sends me a bank check I contact the bank to verify that the check is valid. Some banks will but some refuse and in that case I treat it the same as a personal check and give it five business days to clear before I ship.
