Pull start push mower or sling blade

Not sure which one did me in, but here I sit with a heating pad on my right shoulder while I sip some Jeffersons Small Batch.
Doc said I have an impinged bicep and a possible partial tear of my rotator cuff. Mower wouldn't start. I yanked that cord until I got it started. Then it would die and I had to yank until I got it started again. I believe it had some bad gas or dirt dauber, lol. It eventually backfired and ran fine.
I don't recall anything hurting at the time. After mowing I used the sling blade on stalky weeds growing around the barn. Again, I don't recall anything hurting at the time, or a telltale pop.
I go back in a few weeks for imaging if it doesn't clear up with some PT, rest and TLC.

I've found (for me) getting old really sucks. Then there is the recovery thing. My doc told me when I complained 20 years ago that I'm not 19 y.o. anymore. Like I didn't know that. 😕
I thought you had goats to take care of that for you? Looks like you don't have enough.
Hopefully...Hopefully you have just overworked some muscles or have some minor tears. This is a warning sign to slow down.
Small rider and an electric weed eater coming up. For the big weeds guess the one thing that has a blade in front, electric start.
Hate pulling more than once.
I always keep a can of starting fluid handy. If that does not work, a new carb.
Doesn't sound fun. 'Cept for the drinkin'!
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
Think long and hard before you have rotator cuff surgery should it come to that. I have had both rotator cuffs done. My right shoulder is starting to bother me again. I have already made up my mind that at 74 I'm not going through that pain and long recovery period again. I have often wondered if I would have been better off if I had tried extensive PT instead of the surgery.
Maybe, you should have tried, tequila!
Sure, it tastes horrible, and makes you dance like an idiot, but it works...
The older I get, the more I like the look of a natural growth setting! 😁
