I’m surprised the WSJ would print that.
Just proof positive that if you can pony up enough dollars anybody will print anything. And no, I still won't be watching the National Felons League.
Not enough to want to watch the NFL ever again.
The only way I would ever watch pro football again is if they were to fire all the current players and replace them with VETERANS! 😘
Perhaps if he was currently an NFL head coach it would.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
"NFL will allow social justice phrases on helmets this season." probably not for me
I'd rather pull my fingernails out with pliers than watch the NFL.
You want action? Watch rugby. When I played it was before the Haka.
This!
FTNFL Still a DEMOCRAT PAC as varians post confirms.
BTW you can have anything printed in WSJ if you have the MONEY.
I love watching the Haka's. The Blacks rugby team has an awesome Haka. There's a newly married couple on YouTube that had a Haka performed for them at their wedding. The bride was so emotional she started to cry.
Joe
Some watch NASCAR for the crashes, I watch pro football for the same reason.
His late father used to own the Tampa Bay Buccaneers,
My daughters have just started to play softball for the first time in their lives. They wanted to play and they made the team. I’ll watch them play, pro sports not so much. And to be honest I’ve never watched that much sports. If I see 6 games a year that’s a record. I never watch basketball. I’d rather watch paint dry as opposed to watching golf, tennis or seeing a car go in circles.
In Little League, it is not the players that are the problem, it is the parents.
The WSJ is hurting for money.

I need to be more woke, so I am going to turn my back and kneel when they play the black national anthem.
(not that I’d ever watch it)
Though it seems college sports are getting more and more political and money driven, I still do watch it some. I haven't kept up with the story, but it seems they are going to start allowing them to get paid/sponsored at the college level. If that does turn out to be true, then I am done with it as well. There are some great people in every business, at every level. I know there are probably good ones in the NFL too. But, like the common view of gun owners in the US, all it takes is a couple of crazy extremists and everyone is lumped in with them. I haven't watched the NFL for probably 5 years and that was a game, or part of one. I haven't watched it regularly for at least 25 years.
I don't pay for cable service. I get over the air TV, so, I don't feel too bad about watching bits of games here and there. Both college and pro. Once they get done with their political posturing, the sport is still entertaining.
...I played football, baseball, and ran track... from a little kid thru high school...I have always enjoyed sports, and still do...
...I pay little attention to the "politics" of sports...I watch college and Pro football, and attend the Friday night high school games of my old high school...I will not allow politics to seep into or dictate the entertainment in my life...my brain is big enough to seperate the two..if I looked at everything thing thru a "political" prism, I probably would say "bye" to several friends, watch ZERO TV, attend no movies, or listen to any music, as most musical artists, actors, news reporters/people are bleeding heart Libs that I cannot stand...
....I try my best to enjoy life...life is way too short for me to let politics into every little aspect of my everyday living, politics bite big time...I vote, and sometimes go to City Council meetings...those things are MORE than enough politics for me...
