Made the pilgrimage again to the big flea market.

Great weather, vendors about half missing and crowd about the same. This was Friday and saw all that was to be seen.

No firearms out side the VFW building. Thanks to ATF. I would estimate that the crowd dropped by several thousand the first year when the no gun sales took effect.

Ammo scarce and higher than a cat's back.

Altogether a good trip.

I only live an hour away, but I’ve never been. I’ve heard of some good deals found, but for me, any deal wouldn’t be worth the parking and walking hassle.

Lots of people go from around here, though. I hear the best deals are at the roadside yard sales along Rt 52, 58, 100, and 221.

I've been ther a few times. Only deals were in the with other visitors. Instead of prices, dealers all had their phone #s on everything.

I park about 10 feet from the VFW entrance, got to get there early, 10.00. VFW is on pavement except for the upper section, paved walkways but grass where the sellers set up.

Big lot across fro VFW is on grass and gravel, a little tiresome there.

Lots of food vendors for sure along the street, plenty of sources to get the squirts😲

Deals are hard to come but usually you can ferret one out.

Bought a very nice original Winchester cannon for 400.00 a few years ago. Saw only 3 folks carrying guns for sale and then one could get in a bind if you bought one.

My 2 cents. the flea marke is on life support, all the vendors with quality stuff are dying out and the next generation don't care about "stuff", the VFW workers are olding out and no one interested in stepping up to bat.

Yard sales beside roads, slim picken's for sure. Not worth the hassle to fight in and out traffic.

You're right Butchdog, mostly China crap nock-offs instead of genuine antiques.

I went to that sale once about twenty years ago. I walked all over and if there were any deals I never saw them. Prices were way high.
