Time for the flatlanders to pack up and head south, winter is coming fast now. Snow is just above our house on the mountain over to the right.

Where’s the happy tire swing?
Good God, snow in September. Come to think of it, I got caught in an Ontario snow storm while camping, that was in early September.
Down here in Dixie, in the Land of Cotton, we don't get snow in September.
I can't remember exactly when it was, but Glacier Park got a good dusting of snow a few weeks back. I'm pretty sure it was still August.
Those aren't really 'bad' winters, Dano. For those of us that like to fish it just means more water to fish in come spring!
i know every time i ever went to Utah, didnt matter what month, it snowed on me.
Above your house? Wow. It got deep fast!
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain

Blizzard in 1979 cost us 36000.00 dollars . It collapsed one of our chicken houses . I don't like snow !.
Dang that was a big chicken house.
No snow, but after Labor Day, the weekly renters at the lake go away. The vacation/weekend home owners will be closing up their houses. The traffic & lines at the grocery store will be cut in half and we can go out for a meal. Aaaaaah.
well, snow would certainly help put out fires,,,,
Yep, was in Yellowstone Park in 1976(?), and it snowed two inches on the second of July. August is the only month I have never personally seen it snow.

Will someone tell Bob Ross to knock it the hell off?! We got 2" of his "light and fluffy" on Monday and this afternoon more started falling, now there's 3 more inches and it's still coming down hard.
"Light and fluffy" my @$#%^$@#%$^@! That's heart attack snow out there, 100 lbs / cubic foot
