Closure for the Johnson-Barr family

Gents please say a prayer for the Johnson-Barr family in Kotzebue. Their little girl Ashley was assaulted and murdered 3 years ago. It happened just as my boy moved up there. He knew Ashley well from the school and when she disappeared he joined the search party. They looked for 8 days until they found her.
The details are beyond horrible and her dad Scotty is just devastated, and showing superhuman strength to carry his family through this. Today was the sentencing for the uncle and he got 99 years. Now they're trying to start putting their lives back together and prayers will surely help.

truly sad My heart goes out to the family
JMHO from what I know of most all prisoners do not take kindly to any one who has hurt a kid
Prayers for the family. No words 💔.
When a child is murdered it bothers me. Hoping the family gets some relief but you know every day it comes to mind. The most tragic thing that can happen to a parent is loosing one of your children . It hits close to home when something like that happens and leave it at that.
As if losing your child was bad enough, finding out that a relative was responsible makes it especially horrific. That is something the family will never come to grips with.
I hope they can someday find peace.

Very sad indeed, no telling what I'd do to trash like that if I got close enough to him.......my thought's would be what'cha got to lose, my kids/grandkids are my heart and soul, without them I'm dead anyway.

Terrible
Prayers for the family
Prayers said. That guy is a monster.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
It is unimaginable how someone can do something like that. Specially betraying a young family member. No punishment is enough.
