This has been one of the brightest moons I remember seeing. Love being outside when it's like this and having things lit up.

On the flip side, where we're at there are no streetlights or neighbors with bright lights. When there's no moon out it's seriously dark and a better view of the Milky Way would be tough to find. I love laying out on the deck and just watching the stars at night. It's amazing how much stuff is moving around up there! Satellites all over the place. Or aliens, or something...😲 I'm gonna go back inside....

About a week ago, I had an early morning appointment and headed out thinking I was leaving early. The drive was pretty much all due east and I hit the rising sun just as I was getting started. Never before in all of my born days have I ever experienced such brightness as I did that morning! I started off by putting down the sun visor. NOPE! Reached for my sun glasses. NOPE!!! I actually had to pull over for several minutes until ole SOL crested a bit higher in the sky! I was totally blinded by the light. Couldn't see beyond the hood of my truck.

Thinking back to that morning, I may have had some kind of religious experience! 😐️

Back in the '60's I was running a John Deere 4010 and an offset disc. Full moon came up just as sun was going down and I could see quite well so I just kept running without lights. Dad finally showed up to take me home and he could hear me running but couldn't see me until I turned on my lights.
