I was working on back side of the pole barn adding a lean too extension . I saw our husky chasing the turkey and goose . said out loud dang wife ( not my actual words )must not have had her hooked right on the chain or left the dog run gate open , so I went back down the ladder called our dog over .. then I had to change my words too ooppps not ours but for a distance looked a like her ,it was a young husky female came up to me . so i went to the house new dog in tow and told the wife I was sorry for the names I called her . started looking and posting for the owner . not uncommon around here its also possibly some one dumped her . just have to see what comes of it .

,,,,,,,”told the wife I was sorry for the names I called her .”

I’d be a little reluctant to eat the ‘special’ side dish your wife fixed for you for dinner !! 😉🤣

Been there, done that. I'm more careful now but still need more training. 😁

    well good news

we posted the "found dog" and called the sheriff ( waste of time we found out as he called the sheriff office this morning and no reports of a stray dog had been made . I understand they have more important issues than a lost dog ) and also the shelter posted about it on line with a photo

I was very reluctant about just any one claiming her being a very young husky and nice looking dog any one could have clamed her . but a fellow called early this morning his story made sense from start to finish and said his wife and kids were in tears ( he took the dog to work with him, just down the road about 1/2 mile from us ) the dog ran out the door , he had to call his wife and tell her the bad news . that phone call had to be a sad one .

skip ahead it was way to obvious when he pulled into our drive way the dog was so excited to see him is a understatement

and he was just a glad , good to see a happy reunion . I am sure he felt bad and his wife and kids had target on his back

as for the better half she understood as the dog and her markings were a real close match to ours . but we both have a soft spot when it comes to dogs and well cats 🤨 I guess

Happy ending for the pup, how's it on your end? Forgiven yet? Or waiting for other shoe to fall?😁

she did not hear me using her name in my string of profanity

Apologies were just in fun to let her know we may have gained a new dog she was no where near when I was venting about the dog chasing her birds

But all is well for us and the dog

A good end is the best

Although always described as a cowboy, Roswellnative generally acts as a righter of wrongs or bodyguard of some sort, where he excels thanks to his resourcefulness and incredible gun prowesses.
