With all the indoctrination going on in the classrooms.
Roger Waters, who wrote it, said about this song to Mojo magazine in 2009, "The song is meant to be a rebellion against errant government, against people who have power over you, who are wrong. Then it absolutely demanded that you rebel against that."
We don't need no education
We don't need no thought control
No dark sarcasm in the classroom
Teacher, leave them kids alone
Hey, teacher, leave them kids alone
All in all it's just another brick in the wall
All in all you're just another brick in the wall
Take a listen.

my youngest daughter and i would hear that song played a lot by the classic rock station we were listening to on her way to school. she learned the words and loved to sing along.
I used to have that song on one of my quad tapes years ago. I always liked it. Tapes all melted together and the quad player broke and got tossed. All I have left are the memories.

I appreciate the above songs, but this one really sums it all up for me as to how things are going

Certainly an appropriate selection Mr. Wright. I hope we don't devolve any further or "Eve of Destruction" might be the next pick. Bob
