It's all about the pork but in the end we are getting porked!
He is a damn democrat!
And I thought this thread might be about some Asian delicacy....
What a surprise.
As my wife and agree a sit down talk with the hold out dems
Ok here is the deal a
a offer you can not refuse
And we'll they always go for it
All are just sorry pond scum looking to lineing ther pockets and families friends with tax dollars
West Virginia is turning red. Manchin’s days may be numbered.
As West Virginia State Treasurer, his father was impeached, but he resigned before the state senate voted.
Joe and Joe's cronies have walked a golden road for him i would say. In fact what's a few million for Manchin's mansion soon to be. That 3 plus trillion package will make all of us pay hefting prices for everything if it goes/ Follow the money and the treasury is printing it by the billions.
No surprise
yeah he wasn't a bad govenor, and I hoped he would be the same in DC, but when he got there to DC he changed and is now just another of the worthless washington elite...........
One thing he accomplished was to give everyone time to find out what was in that 3.5 trillion bill before the voting. Unlike the Obamacare "we'll read it after it is passed" technique favored by Pelosi. Holding the bipartisan infrastructure bill hostage to the passage of the 3.5 boondoggle also exposes the hypocrisy and greed of the dems. So even (when) he caves at least he accomplished something by stalling the vote. Bob
Hillbille, agree. I always liked Joe and thought he really cared about the people of West Virginia. Never will forget how he dropped everything and he and his wife rushed home for the trapped miners through out that whole ordeal. Sad but power corrupts.------------Ray
Hell McConnell rolled too
Yeah, but we expected that.
I really don't think he just rolled. If we don't pass raising the debt limit and default on the government loans it might crash the world economy worse and for longer than Covid did. If the dems don't accept his 2 month stopgap measure any problems will all be accredited to them. If they do accept it and use the 2 months to raise the limit by reconciliation then any increase in debt will also be blamed on them. Kind of a win/win for the Republicans considering what they have to work with. McConnell may not be my favorite but he is definitely playing hardball. Bob
Mitch is a complete roller when the money is right. Another crooked clown.
