Sitting in a booth at Chillis spreading hair conditioner all over my hands and arms....oblivious
I've got to get my eyes checked. So does my Aunt, obviously. We were at Chillis Monday evening and went to the restroom, the hand soap in there is so aggressive that I asked if she had any lotion in her bag when we got to the table. She hands me a little tube....I go to spreading it all over myself. Then she pulls out another tube. This is when she says "I got these at the last hotel I stayed in." I know that when you travel, the hotels have lotion, shampoo, conditioner in the rooms in most places.....but not several of each. So I asked her what it was I just used????
It turned out to be the conditioner. It didn't end up being all that horrible. So, now I know as a backup plan for lotion....hair conditioner will do the trick!

And in a pinch when traveling it also works as a shave cream!
Your little arm hairs should be healthy and vibrant now!
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
Coincidentally (or should that be coincioptically?) My annual eye check was this morning and I'm sitting here with my eyes still dilated and trying to see the keyboard/screen.
Those hotel bottles are sure handy. Besides their intended use, shampoo makes good hand soap, the lotion makes a passable shoe shine, and the conditioner makes decent shave cream. The problem comes in when trying to see which is which when you're already in the shower and not wearing glasses.
They throw out anything you leave behind, so you might as well take them with you. Besides, you paid for them. (But do leave the towels!)
Wife and I ended up with bags of these and gave them to a homeless shelter.
Ah, missed these folksy happenings from Locust Fork.
