A case for 2A
About 15 years ago I got a call to come upstairs and see my boss the CEO and President of the Alumni at West Point. He closed the pocket door behind us and said I have something to show you. Well, he knew that I was a Gun Nut and restored Old Winchesters as a hobby. He reached in his pocket and pulled out a key and unlocked his desk drawer. Out came a Walther PPK in beautiful condition with just a slight imperfection on one side. He asked me if I thought he should have it re-blued. I advised him to leave it alone as it was too nice and valuable as it was.
I asked him, aren't you afraid the MP's will throw you in the brig and is it loaded? He replied of course it is loaded. Then he said something to me that I will never forget. "Ray, there are people in this world who actually think that all the worlds problems will be solved if they kill the President of the Alumni at West Point." Then he showed me a letter from a nut.

The right codified by 2A is for all.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
