I owned this pistol a few years back. I had maybe a dozen good High Standard pistols and a friend wanted this one so I sold it. Now he brought it back for me to sell. If my eyes were good enough to do it justice anymore I would buy it. It should go to someone who can use it well and that's not me. The balance, the sights, the trigger are all first rate. Made in 1951 this Supermatic wears a 4 1/2" heavy barrel with a 3 oz under barrel weight. If you miss while shooting this one; well it is your fault for sure.

Great looking HS there! Back in the day I loved shooting target 22's......including my HS Victor, and Supermatic Trophy.
Still have a multi-barrelled S&W 41, and Ruger 5.5"HB ( with a spare 10" AMT Lightning upper w/4X Leupold EER scope.......for pick-up sniping stock tank frogs with my uncle...........long ago).
Here's a target 22 I built in the late 70's.............now-a-days doubt I can shoot it as well as then.
Post the link when you get it listed. Though things are selling so high watch is all I'll probably do, again.
Sold my Hi-Standard Supermatic Citation "Space Gun" with a bunch of different barrels in '18 (or was it '19?). Since my eyes ain't what it used to be it was a shame to keep her locked up. Besides I made out okay since the old timers that know of the gun are dead or dying off. Put the $1600 towards the Springfield M25 "White Feather" and she came with a Leupold LR/T 3.5-10X40. That was
