A map you'll seldom see on the news (I had to search for it).

With nothing else to do, I looked for the 2020 presidential votes by county and was amazed. This is what America looks and votes like based on where people live and not the gerrymandered congressional districts which generate electoral votes:
There are 3007 counties (or equivalents- parish) in the United States, and votes based on counties, rather than politically drawn districts, are not even close!

😲 Just WOW!
Unfortunately a lot of those blue areas have very dense populations... and I use that word with both meanings in mind:
1. having the component parts closely compacted together; crowded or compact
a dense forest
dense population
2. stupid; slow-witted; dull
...
Kinda makes one understand about the blue folks having contempt for what they call flyover America. Ruger4me is right, blues are to dumb to survive on their own and pack together like schooling bait fish for survival. Bob
As expected the only blue areas of MO were KC, SL, and Jeff City
Wow! Reminds me of the counties in New York State highlighted in green that were opposed to the New York Safe (unsafe) Act of 2013.-------------------------------Ray
I invite/urge GB members to make a copy of this map and use it to counter the falsehood that conservatism died when Trump was not reelected. The map clearly shows that nothing could be further from the truth. Liberalism exists mostly in small, but densely populated areas of our country (as @Ruger4me pointed out).
As an admin, I normally keep my political views to myself, but this map really surprised me.
Mark, was stuck on my refrigerator door even before you posted. In color of course.------Ray
Another surprise for me is how blue our border is with Mexico!
