Being demolished I-95 South Carolina / North Carolina Border

was a landmark for me for many years
That is too bad. I liked stopping there when traveling between Fayetteville and Atlanta to visit my parents. They are gone and now too is SOTB. They had a great self car wash there and the hotdogs weren't too bad either.
From the billboards ole Pedro would wave and tell me to stop.....and I did many times 😊

That's where we stopped and took our helmets off when g5to bike week.
Been in that place lots of times.
Piece of my childhood done gone . When Daddy sold tobacco in Dillon and Florence we always stopped there to buy fireworks to take home to nc . For a 13 year old kid it was a wonderful place .
We just stopped there the other week on the way back from Hilton Head. Pedro is just fine. They're just tearing down the old hotel. All the other stuff is still there. A lot of pieces to South of the Border (new hotel, Hats of the World, gift/junk shop, Fort Pedro Fireworks place, Reptile World, restaurants, the sombrero tower, etc.)
Long live Pedro!!
As a child up and down I-95 with my parents I always begged Dad to stop, NO WAY too expensive etc. As an Adult I stopped once LOL.
