My AR15 Jigsaw puzzle.
I have been putting this off as I knew it was going to take some time to figure what all the pieces were. I am nearing the end of an estate collection and this gun, well guns, is one of the last of the firearms. As far as I can tell so far, the receivers from MGI in Maine have a unique feature in that the lower is two piece and allows
mag wells to be changed. I have mag wells for 9mm using 32 round Colt style mags, and another for .45 acp using Grease Gun mags, and finally a 5.56 that has a belt fed device made by Valkyrie Armament that uses M249 SAW links. You can use normal AR15 mags with that as well. I have a complete upper for 7.62x39 but I have not come across the mag well yet. There is also what appears to be a quick change barrel system. I am still trying to figure all the pieces out.

You have the 45 ACP parts I need for my other
cool
what motorcycle shops used to call a basket case, someone had the ability to take it apart but not to put it back together.
Not at all. This gentleman held a manufactures ffl and was quite capable but he is dead you see. Another example of why anyone with a collection of anything that is worth much should label it so the people left behind can figure out what you bought. I just found two more barrels to go with this set.
For the right buyer(s), that stuff is EXTREMELY desirable.
My favorite kind of puzzle!
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
It will go together
