This is the little cowgirl that broke her neck, back and numerous ribs. Oh, and lost her thumb to a bear that was mauling her hubby.
Full back brace and neck immobilizer ,,,,,,,, tough little woman.

He’s doing better than her ,,,,,,,,,, his injuries were not quite as extensive. Don’t know if the docs will ever give clearance for her to get back in the saddle, too many screws and pins in her back and neck.
So glad they are on the mend as well as they are. They got pretty banged up. Hope she makes back to the saddle someday. I believe she will.

Those are Black Mouth Curs, excellent cattle dogs, very laid back until you jingle your spurs and they get excited real quick ,,,,,, they wanna go to work, and they know their job well.
They might hunt a hamburger,,,,,,, 🤣
They use Cur dogs here for hog, deer and * hunting. Mostly Catahula and mountain curs.
I have to say forge, that buck had a nice rack but he looks a tad skinny. 😉
