World War Eleven
This is what happens when you stop teaching or recognizing history.
Stupid is as stupid does.
Subject: World War Eleven
GAAAH - also explains CRT, 1619 Project, and NEA very effectively.

World War Eleven
YOUNG PEOPLE CANNOT LEARN FROM HISTORY ANYMORE, BECAUSE HISTORY IS NO LONGER TAUGHT AS A REQUIRED SUBJECT IN PUBLIC HIGH SCHOOLS.
Theodore "Dutch" J. Van Kirk was the navigator on the "Enola Gay" when it dropped the bomb at Hiroshima, Japan, and is the last surviving member of the crew. This really happened.
Dutch was asked to speak at a grammar school this past week. The young teacher introduced him by saying the speaker was a veteran of World War Eleven (as in WW II).
Dutch stood up and walked out of the school without saying a word.
End of story...
GOD HELP US!
For those who understand, no explanation is needed.
For those who do not understand, no explanation is possible.

I am surprised at the number of people, many of them on up in years, know nothing of this country's history. All they know is what they have heard on the news, internet or talk radio, none of which should be taken very serious.
You people better be brushing up on your Chinese.

Even if it actually happened, this anecdote is almost a decade old. But with no mention of which school or where, this has all the red flags of an urban myth.
It is undeniable, however, that teachers today are woefully ignorant. Their curriculum is agenda-driven and politically biased, not based on facts.
Damn it. Big green box got me again.
This sounds made up.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
It is an urban myth about the teacher, probably started from this article:
