It started about 9:15 and has been getting more intense. I looked at the radar and there is a wide band of snow coming through. Might wind up with several inches. 😄

I drove in that storm last night on my way to Chicago , thought I would be able to get in front of it but no luck , at least it died way down while i was at the terminal , so I didn't get soaked while unhooking and getting my next set ready to go
I was just talking to my daughter that lives in NW Ohio. She told me her and Buster, her Aussie Shepard, had just returned from a walk in the snow. She said the snow was the great big, wet type of snowflakes and both her and Buster were very wet! She said it was a great walk because those type of snowflakes muffle all the sound, said it seemed like her and Buster were all alone in a quiet world!
Got four inches last nite here in Wis
Send some snow our way ...PLEASE!!!

Well, it turned out we only got a total of about 3/4", a lot of it melted on contact with the slightly warmer ground. I just took the trash out and it's snowing again, but pretty lightly. Oh well, we haven't even gotten to winter yet.

I did not send it. We've been 50 & 60's again.
Had it in Southern Michigan last night. I was on a late squad for a meat shoot at the trap club and lucked out keeping the gun dry. Took the wife to the store after and got pelted with ice pellets.
I seem to enjoy it less this year!
Well here in the PNW we got 3" of rain in the last 24 hours. Add that to the 30.5 inches we have got since Sept. 24......
I just planted our fall tomatoe plants so you can keep all of that white stuff.
36F here in SW Missouri. I should go out and hunt deer but it's a lil too chilly for me.
No luck opening day or yesterday.
How much you end up with, bubba ??
We average 150 to 200 inches a year. Plow is on the truck, snow blower gassed and shovel next to the door.
It's in the 9th post, Joe. It's snowing again right now. The yard is white, well at least it was before it went dark out.

thats all?? snowing like crazy, and 3/4 inch don't go together. I was thinking you were getting big ol storm off the lakes and dumping a couple feet.
Our ground temperature is too high for sustained snow to stay around. It snowed yesterday most of the day, and this morning it is 95% gone already. That other storm was in a wide band that came across the midwest heading east. We don't get very high totals off the lakes, usually.
