We "cut the cord" and I added roof top antennas sadly in town we live within a few miles of an airport which I think is the disrupter of signals we experience. Luckily we have internet there and we have Netflix and Hulu plus.

Out in the Country we are so far away I think even cell phones disrupt our antenna signal. Needless to say we watch DVDs cause we have no internet there and I'am OK with that :)

Why don't we go to school and work on the weekends and take the week off!

We cut the cord from Dish couple of months ago and use Netflix, Sling and Paramount Plus.

Primarily watch the ID Network/Discovery/Lifetime shows but have noticed that I am weaning off the tube and actually doing more around the house. Good feeling.

    OK :

While I was living @ My house in S.E. TN , I had ( 2 ) 'home-made' soda can pvc pipe antennas , received 63 ( free ) channels and 52 on the other one : Made several ( apx. 75 ) of these and sold them , only had One 'customer' that complained , I offered a refund but he did not want it ???

Having the large number of channels is OK , sometimes a pain ? They are happy ( Daughter & SIL ) ?

When I get into my own 'room' Im going to do one of My home-made antenna !

    |We shall see ???

    Thanks !!!

I watch mostly the discovery, history, or the old movies on TCM, hardly watch any network tv anymore, and a lot of the reruns on MeTV.......

About all I watch are old western reruns on MeTV that I get for free from a 70 dollar indoor antenna. I also watch MASH outside the western stuff. My sat. dish internet service (Hughes Net) makes any kind of streaming worthless, so I do enjoy a plethora of DVD and VHS movies when ever I find the time.

There are many channels that feature old shows. We get two on antenna here in Utah, and DirecTV has ch 323, featuring Wagon Train, Mannix, Beverly Hillbillies, Perry Mason, and more.

I watch for a few hours before bed. Mostly tune to Discovery, History, Sportsman, Weather, and such. Wednesday nights feature Nature and Nova on PBS, which are both pretty good to watch. Hope this helps.

    I may be a bit crazy - but I didn't drive myself.

I just have to add this...... No matter how much I like most of the old westerns, seeing The Rifleman again and again, year after year.....every episode over and over.....gets pretty darn old!!

Now, Adam 12 has about done the same!!! I wish METV would change the time periods and put shows like Gun Smoke on later and move things around a bit!!

I only have "over the air" service which serves pretty well. I have internet service and my mom lets me use her Netflix. Last night I was at her house and she gave me a ROKU device which I need to hook up. Supposedly can get get some good free stuff there. I am not paying for CABLE ever again.

We dumped the dish years ago and went with ROKU stick...nice but there was a learning curve...

I'm far too busy to waste time watching anti-gun celebrities make money waving guns around as if they knew what they were doing.

No more cable or satellite TV.With all the commercials I was paying them to try to sell me something.

I like lots of stuff on Discovery, especially the fake ones about Alaska. Check out Alaska Off-road Warriors, a friend of mine Jason is the one with the red Rover.
