4:00 am EST?
I'll look when I get up to pee.
I would be getting up to hunt about then.....but I'm too tired !!!
They should schedule this stuff in the afternoon or week ends so the kids can see it.
Eclipse is starting here in Alaska, the Moon was full, now almost half occluded.
Cloudy skies here
It was too cloudy here to have seen anything. Hope those that could see it enjoyed the view.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
It's way too cloudy here to see anything in the sky. Besides at the time it was supposed to be visible here, I was sound asleep.

It was epic! The moon turned redder and redder until it was just a dark red disc up there, barely visible.
I wonder, do you think it's supposed to get bright again?
Left for work at 3:30am central time this morning. It was hazy overcast, but I coud see a bright white less than 1/2 moon. It kept getting bigger and bigger, until just about full.
Never saw any red tint on my hour drive into work.
Yeah about 5 this morning it was half a white disk. By 7AM it was a pure white full moon. So what you saw was the waning portion of the eclipse.
When it was almost completely eclipsed, to eclipsed, to coming out the other side, is when the red really happened. That was the light curving around the Earth throwing our shadow on the moon.
